Our classes are based on games, activities, rhymes and stories that are lots of fun for little ones, but are designed to help boost their confidence and communication skills.     In fact the sessions were designed by 2 paediatric speech and language therapists based on their knowledge of how language skills naturally develop in the early years.   Class sizes are small (max 12 children) and a typical session is 45 mins long which includes 10-15 mins of play time at the beginning.

Talking Tots is brilliant for children who are not yet confident talkers, as they get lots of practice using sounds and words in a fun way.   We also help develop other important communication skills, like describing and sorting words, taking turns in a conversation and paying attention to instructions.     As the children get a little older, Talking Tots also introduces pre-literacy skills to help prepare them for big school and learning to read and write.    There are 3 class groups, depending on age. These are:  Speech Sprites (1 to 2 yrs), Speech Sprinters (2 to 3 yrs) and Speech Sparklers (3 yrs to pre-school)
